NOUMAN'S WORKSHOPS

WORKSHOP 1

Nouman Gaafar's sculpture workshop at the College of Fine and Applied

Arts at Sudan University of Science and Technology in 2018 offered a

comprehensive exploration of sculptural techniques for students from the

sculpture department. This transformative event guided participants

through the stages of drawing, clay sculpting, and mold making, from

plaster to cement casting. With hands-on sessions and expert guidance,

the workshop not only enhanced the students' technical skills but also

deepened their understanding of sculptural expression. This educational

experience left attendees both inspired and enriched.

WORKSHOP3

The workshop held on October 9th, 2018, at Khartoum International

Community School was a creatively enriching event for the students.

Guided by Nouman Gaafar, the workshop focused on mural creation, where

students were organized into three groups to work on abstract paintings.

Each group used a unified theme and pattern to guide their artwork,

promoting creativity and collaboration. This approach not only allowed

the students to engage deeply with the artistic process but also to

learn the value of teamwork in realizing a collective vision. The

workshop successfully introduced the students to new methods of artistic

expression, enhancing their skills and appreciation for art.
